The Ordinary 100% Niacinamide Powder 20g

Have been using this product over a year now can’t recommend enough.

I absolutely love this product. I mix it with OrdinaryHyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and apply every morning, my pores are tiny and the blackheads I have had on my nose for the past 30+ years have gone! I will not go without it! Sometimes it doesn’t soak in properly and I get a nice powdery white line around my jaw or my nostril but that’s a small price to pay for the results and it disappears when I add moisturiser.

I'm 50 with extremely oily skin, enlarged pores and am prone to breakouts. I have been mixing this powder into toners and serums with fast, fantastic results! Skin is balanced & breakouts are rare now. It dissolves instantly and does not change the texture. I don't worry about the measuring spoon too much, I just use common sense & ph strips to make sure my creations are in the correct range. I have experienced no irritation whatsoever and will be stockpiling this amazing product. Thank you Deciem!

Start using it about 3 weeks ago, mixed with the Buffet serum and I am really happy about the results I get. My large pores ( thank you genetic) are way less visibles. First time I see such drastic results so fast.

So far, so good! I purchased the Niacinamide power specifically for my nose (pores becoming more noticeable with age) and for the sun spots/age spots on my hands and arms. I apply the powder directly to my nose and the sides of my nose by pinching/patting or rubbing after Amino Acids+B5. In a week's time my pores look smaller and the redness is reduced! My daughter gave me the Niacinamide face and body emulsion for Christmas, so I'm also adding this to that. I haven't seen any improvement yet, but, it's just been over a week. Definitely keeping this in my arsenal! Oh! Although this is high-strength, the only issue I've had was a tiny dryness/flake in the corner of my nose right next to my nostril. I pinpoint size of HA+Ceramides fixed that overnight.

I think I will keep using it after switching from the serum version. It dissolves well when mixed with my Hyluronic Acid 2% +B5 and doesn't pill like the serum sometimes did. My only gripe thus far is the size of the spoon. Please make a spoon that is the right size instead of providing one that is too big and then having us measure a quarter. If the spoon were the right size, then it would be easier to just use a spoonful.

As am was going through menopause, my adult acne kicked in with a vengeance (worse than when I was a teen). This is a part of my daily regimen and mix it with The Buffet with Copper Peptides. I apply it after cleansing and before The Hyralonic Acid HA moisturizer. It has helped in saving my skin! I haven't had any major acne since using this.

I love it but be careful to use just a little bit because too much is irritating. I can use it everyday if it's just a little :) It helps me regulate production sebum blend in the acid hyaluronic serum

7 level scoops is about 1.5g. When added to 30mls serum of your choice (I choose buffet+copper) then you have the clinically recommended dose (5%) of niacinamide to enjoy. No irritation or dryness. Dissolves easily. What's not to like.

I like to add to moisturizer a few times a week. This enables me to control myself

So, I rarely ever write reviews, but Sweet Fancy Moses this stuff is AMAZING! I have to say I was really pleased with The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid, but mixing this stuff with it just super-charges it. I got my package on Wednesday and used it that night with the Hyaluronic, and the next day, my skin was so much smoother, pores are smaller, and my acne scar bumps are greatly diminished. I was at the point that I was considering getting my face lasered by my atologist once the pandemic was over to remove the bumps, but I think I'm going to put that off for now, because this has made such a difference in my skin. I don't even need to use primer my skin is so much smoother! I will give a point off for the little scoop that is included because it is kind of difficult to gauge how much of the powder to use, but seriously I think this has saved me some money in getting something expensive done in the long-term. So glad I bought this stuff!

It works on my skin, its less oily and clearer now. My only issue is the expiry date. Given that we only need to use 1/4 of a scoop, this should last long, but it expires 3 mos after purchase date. Disappointed. Wont be buying again.

Tested it, and unlike the serum version it doesn’t give me skin rash. It’s not a magic powder which going to change the skin overnight, but after few weeks of persistent use it really can improve enlarged pores and skin texture up to some extent (i still need to keep my expectation logically possible). Just ordered couple more jars. Good work!!!

I love niamcinamide and I love all things DECIEM. I was extremely excited to use this but it's just not for me. I have tried to mix it with many different serums and creams and it either leaves a white cast on my face or pills. Because of my skin care routine, I choose to use niacinamide during the day and I just won't be able to use this. I am jealous of all the raving reviews but I just can not get it to work for me. I have been using this for more than 6 years. It is the best vitamin C I have ever used (and I have tried a lot of brands, including expensive ones). PLEASE, do NOT discontinue this amazing product!!!

I love the concept! But what can I mix this with other than the Natural Moisturizing Factors + Ha? Can I combine powder, moisturizer, and a face oil perhaps? I’m currently mixing a quarter scoop of powder with about a nickel sized moisturizer together in the morning and it feels so so so dry on my skin. I do apply another serum beforehand. I mix this with my face moisturizer with no adverse effects. It does exactly what my prior niacinamide serum plus face cream routine did and comes cheaper. I have one question tho: can i mix a big batch with my body lotion and use it over a time (how long?) or does it turn inactive after a while after mixing and therefore should be mixed immediately before application each time? I love this product! I mix this with the Buffet + Copper Peptide 1% and the two combined together sit well on my face. I only take off one star because the scoop they provide is too large for the appropriate amount. When I first got the 100% Niacinamide Powder I was using one whole scoop on my face and was experiencing the white buildup on my face. I reached out to the Deciem Support and they explained that you should have less than a whole scoop of powder and 4 drops of your serum. I have been doing that ever since and I haven't had any white casting on my face.

I used to spend serum pretty fast (have to apply it all over my face and neck). But this way, I can incorporate Niacinamide in my routine, without adding additional serum, just mix it with my current moisturiser and still be sure that I have enough product left :D In the evening, after cleansing, apply Alpha Arbutine + HA, wait 15 mins, mix moisturiser with powder (really easy to dissolve in any watery solution), again wait for skin to absorb, then Retinol 1% in Squalane and I'm ready to relax and enjoy while my scars are diminishing :D Thank you The Ordinary team for giving us hope and efficient products :D Please, remain the same reliable company as so many people adore you!

I had great results. It helped reduce large pores and created a smooth appearance.

Unfortunately, I always have this problem with white powder (plz see attached) on my face after using 100% niacinamide powder, I mix this powder well in the palm of my hand with 4-5 drops of hyaluronic acid 2%+B5. But After applying it, this product leaves behind a white powder. Please advise me, what is the cause of this problem? Thanks

I have been using the serum, and then the powder regularly for a few years and loved it- Unfortunately, it has lightened the skin on my face and neck, which I had no idea it would do and I'm devastated!! I've already struggled with the skin on my face being lighter than the rest of my body but now it's noticeably several shades lighter... I have no idea if it will ever go back or if I'm stuck like this. I didn't realize niacinamide was responsible until I did some more research and realized niancinamide has been tested as an effective skin whitener because it inhibits the process of melanogenisis. I was misled to believe that "brightening" products were distinct from skin "whitening" products. I trusted the Ordinary and thought a company that prides itself on its scientific approach to skincare would give its customers a heads-up about something as significant as this.

I love The Ordinary’s Niacinimide powder but I bought the latest batch a week ago and apparently it has already expired. Still, I mix it with my cerave in hopes that some of the magic remains. :( The Ordinary! Take note, I’ve noticed a lot of reviews commenting on short expiry dates.

This is a wonderful product, it makes skin smooth like a baby one.Not sure why the Ordinary want to take it out of the market. it is an amazing product indeed! I am buying now in bulk in case it is really out of market, why tho?

This product doesn't make sense to me. Why not provide the correct scoope size instead of us having to guess what a quarter scoop is? Or why not just make a 5% niacinamide serum instead for those of us who can't tolerate the 10% serum? So I can't use the powder because there's no way to accurately measure, or the serum because it's too strong of a percentage.
