The Ordinary The Skin Glow Set

Started using Niacinamide nearly 2 years ago, 2/3 times a week. Have to admit that results don't come immediately but they do, after couple of months I've noticed that all bumps from my cheek bone are gone. Now my 14y old son is using it too , helps keep spots under control. Definitely must have product if looking for smooth and bump free skin.

I’ve been using this product for a very long time, as first I thought it wasn’t working. But, after being patient and reading instructions, as well as watching youtube videos on when and how to it. I can say this product has helped a lot with dark spots I had on my cheeks, They’ve cleared up overtime which makes me happy and I’ve never stopped using this product since. I have even put my friend on to it, and they said it has worked wonders for their skin.

This toner is honestly a holy grail. My skin tone looked dull before, and now it’s glowing and more vibrant. It also helped a lot with minimizing the look of my pores. Also thanks for the body lotion, I love youuu the ordinary ❤️❤️❤️

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is such a good product I love the results. It gives my skin the radiance and better texture/color. It’s super good for sensitive skin & has no scent on this product. Offered by the ordinary.

I’ve been using this for a week now on my mature skin. I apply at night and my face feels wonderful in the mornings, very silky which is a new experience for me. As it is used as an anti ageing cream it would probably not be suitable for younger skin, my older drier skin absorbs it perfectly.. I shall be sticking to this from now on. There is no cure for ageing but this improves my appearance. Growing old disgracefully x

The ordinary glycolic acid toner was gifted to me by TheOrdinary. I already have and used the full size so receiving the travel size is perfect for my upcoming travels! I wasn’t sure about the product at first so I did some research and watched a bunch of videos on how others are using it. I had decided to use it for my underarms as a deodarant and to lighten it, for my keratosis pilaris (KP) arm, and elbow dark spot. I’ve been using it for about three months now and noticed a different. My underarms and elbows have lightened up and the dark discoloring has faded quite a bit. For my KP on my arms it has slowly faded too but still a long way to go. My favorite part is using it as a deodarant every few days. Temperatures have been high where I live lately and using this as a deodarant on some days I was very impressed. Of course it doesn’t make you STOP sweating as it’s a natural part of our bodies to sweat no matter what. However, the glycolic toner helps reduce and clear out the bad odors that come along with sweating. It definitely works as I use several different natural deodorants and compare them to this and this is one of the best for reducing or diminishing odor. This is definitely a “buy again” in our household.

I started using this 1 month ago because I was experiencing horrible cystic acne and clogged pores. I decided to change out my entire skin care routine. I switched all of my original drug products to ordinary products. I use the niacinimide 10% zinc 1% solution, then I use the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum. After I go in with SPF moisturizer (which I noticed pills slightly so I need to find a new one) then I apply Azelaic Acid 10% Suspension Brightening Cream. wow. My skin went from oily, pimply, red, irritated, and dull to happy, healthy and clear in just a few days. I did not experience any skin purging with these products. I have sensitive skin and normally when I switch a product in my routine I get cystic acne but not with ordinary. I will now be a forever customer.

I have been using this for a while (I’m in Europe at the moment and won’t be able to get a different vitamin c product for a while). I was getting a bit too much of a burning sensation so as the instructions suggest I mix it with my cetaphil moisturizer. I have tried using them at night without the rest of my products to see if those are the issue, but this stuff when used with anything else turns into this horrible, gooey mess that just sits on my skin. It’s definitely making my moisturizer obsolete which is a shame

I've been using this for 2 months consistently. I have noticed a reduction/fade on my acne scars. I rated a 3 due to packaging and product consistency. It's grainy on the skin. As it dries, it leaves a white sandy grain residue on my face. I will be swapping to serum these next months and hope it works the same. During travel, the top snapped open (not the cap). Product spilled all inside my travel pouch.

I feel like I like this product but I haven’t really seen any major benefits after using it for about a year but I really feel I’m just using it wrong. Yea, it’s gritty, yeah it doesn’t smell amazing but honestly, that doesn’t matter to me in the slightest. My problem with it is I get a lot of pilling no matter how I apply. I’ve tried mixing it with different ratios of hyaluronic acid, rose water, natural moisturising factors, on its own. I’m not sure what else to try but I known this is a good product so I want to try again. I feel like this must be technically a better product than the silicone version (otherwise why would it exist?) so I really want to stick with it.

Okay, I JUST bought this today, May 30th, 2025. So this will be a multi-part review, with updates every couple of weeks. First impression: Sandpaper texture, funky smell. Legit feels like what I'd imagine if I just crushed up a bunch of vitamin C pills and added some thin lotion. Smells like what a protein bar tastes like. Lol. That said! I didn't experience any irritation at all, and I gave it a bit to sink in and the sandpapery texture went away. Looking forward to seeing if it helps with the melasma on my forehead. I've heard that it might be able to!

I received glycolic acid 7% exfoliating toner gifted by the Ordinary in exchange for my honest review. After a few days of wet application, the acne marks have faded, and the sensitive muscles are not allergic. I am really happy. It is also refreshing and not greasy when used as a toner. Absorption effect: it absorbs quickly. My skin: mixed oil skin!

I have been using this product for over 2 years and cannot have my skin routine without it. I use it at night after my prescription retinol and in the morning after m6 vitamin c. Ordinary has not disappointed me. My skin is supple, brighter, pores are less visible. Texture and tone is much more even. When ppl see me with my son who is 30 years younger than me, they think we are siblings! I am using their hair serum too and will wrote review after giving it a few months.

You might want to include a warning on the label, not to mix ascorbic acid with this product, because it contains sodium benzoate... just out of an abundance of caution. We don't want anyone getting cancer now, do we?

I have tried multiple Vitamin C products at varying price points. I keep returning to this one. I actually see my skin becoming brighter and healthier looking when I use it. I’m done with trying others!

I've read up on the reviews of what Niacinamide can do for acne prone skin and was intrigued if it would work for my breakouts. Although most of them are assumed to be hormonal acne, it did help me with how long breakouts lasted. Whiteheads and blind pimples lasted for a day before subsiding now as before they would last a good week or so. One irk is that when I apply my moisturiser (sukin naturals signature facial moisturiser) after massaging Niacinamide/Zinc into my face is that it rubs on white cast like, and takes a while to rub in properly before disappearing/being absorbed. I'm not sure if this is a compatibility issue between products or if that's what it's supposed to do. I'm yet to see any significant improvement on skin pigmentation as I have a lot of scarring on my chin due to hormonal acne. I also use a vitamin C rich routine at night time to see if that helps.

I love how this makes your pores shrink & it helps with oil control. However, I think the strength of Niacinimide is really high. It makes my face really sensitive and feels like I have a mild sunburn which can’t be good for my skin. My face is rarely ever sensitive to products so it’s not due to having sensitive skin. I used to tolerate it better in the past than I have recently so I’m so I’m wondering if there was a formula change

I LOVE the Glycolic Acid Toner! I use it after washing my face in the evening. I apply it to clean skin, let it dry, put Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid on top of that, once that dries I add my nightmare moisturizer. In just a couple weeks I can see a huge difference! My skin glows, wrinkles are not as noticeable, my skin is much improved! I have very sensitive skin and this does not irritate my skin. Im surprised that it works so well and no irritation.

It’s a decent product. I always repurchase this, but prices are getting way too expensive, so I’m kind of over with the brand.

It may be to soon to tell but I haven't noticed an improvement yet. It's a bit gritty at first but after topping off with some moisturizer, it's better. Although my dog won't lick my face when I use this! lol

It's good, but the effect is greatly diminished, I used to pair it with the Hylamide Matte 12 - this combo kept me oil free all day, now I'm oily nosed by midday.

I got it as a gift from my sister. It worked so great. I loved it so much that I bought my own and a much bigger bottle.

I feel like when applying the product it has a soapy feeling. It does not go on very smooth.
