I was hesitant to buy this since my last niacinamide product failed to clear up my dark spots and red patches. BUT THIS IS WORKING!!! It doesn’t do much for actual acne, but for dark spots and red patches? Yes. Keep in mind I also use sheet masks and vitamin c every once in a while, but this is definitely the main ingredient. Plus, I got it for only 6 dollars at target!!! It might make ur skin a tiny bit red after u put it on, but it will go away and absorb nicely throughout the day and night. Also it is not very liquidy and can be sticky.

I really wanted to like this toner because it’s often compared to Pixie Beauty’s Glow Tonic, which I really like. However, this one leaves my skin feeling very tacky after each use. I would try to wait for the feeling to go away before putting on my serum or mouisturizer, but it doesn’t— not even after an hour. I do like that the scent is mild and it doesn’t make my skin irritated, though.

Started using Niacinamide nearly 2 years ago, 2/3 times a week. Have to admit that results don't come immediately but they do, after couple of months I've noticed that all bumps from my cheek bone are gone. Now my 14y old son is using it too , helps keep spots under control. Definitely must have product if looking for smooth and bump free skin.

Used as directly on the package. Twice a week for a month or so. Did notice a little fading of scare tissue.

I´ve been using it once a day at night after the cleaning for a month and I notice changes in the texture of my face. It looks smooth and brighter, it really helps! I don´t have acne problems and I have oily skin.

I thought it was working but i did not reorder in time and had to go a couple days without using it... UM YEAH it was working!!! within 24 hours of not using my delightful teenage skin was reappearing with acne in places i forgot i used to have it... if u r doubting if its working... stop using it for a couple days n get back to me😆

I started using The Ordinary products 3 years ago, and I just thought that it’s time for me to leave a review here. And I must say, this niacinamide is the holy grail!!!! I looked back at my old photos vs now, I’ve never been so happy with my skin. I use a few other products from the Ordinary too, and everything that I’ve used just suits my skin so much. I can’t imagine myself switching to other brands.

I have dry and sun-damaged skin. I was looking for an effective yet gentle skin product to address my specific skin concerns. Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA is a water-based serum designed to target uneven skin tone and improve pigmentation. I applied the serum twice daily, before my moisturizer. I’ve been using Niacinimide + Zinc on a fairly consistent daily basis for probably 3 years and it’s given me the clearest skin I’ve had in my life. I had really bad acne growing up - not accurate bad but relentless and seemingly unresponsive to any preventative attempts I made. Obviously acne in your 30s is different than acne in your very hormonal teens, but I think this is the perfect product for just that. In fact, as a use case, I was forced to be separated from my whole skincare routine for about 3 weeks a year and a half ago and my skin understandably went nuts. But with just CeraVe wash and Niacinimide + Zinc I pulled in back together in a couple weeks.

I saw a video of someone saying this is good as a deodorant and let me tell you, this is 700% true. My partner always tells me I smell because of the type of work I do (I’m always on construction sites) and I do agree with him, I get sweaty easily and it smells if I don’t take a shower immediately. But I got this toner only last week and applied it like 3 days in a row at night. I used it on my armpits, underboobs etc. I went to work, did workouts, cleaned my entire apartment, basically did everything that makes me sweat. And I keep smelling myself and I’m like how is this even possible?!?!?! No smell at all, makes my skin nice and soft, boyfriend is happy and tells me I smell nice and it only costs $16!!! If y’all are stinky and have strong BO like me, you need to get this asap.

I have very dehydrated oily skin,with occasional hormonal acne.After using this serum i have noticed significant changes on my skin.It keeps my skin oil free without any dehydration. It also reduces pigmentations. But the best part is it helps me to keep my makeup or tinted sunscreen all day long . As a minimalist person i use this serum as my primer, antioxidant and i pair it at night with my retinol.

I have been using this for a few months now but im not seeing any results where my acne is concerned however, it does a really good job with oil control seeing that I have oily skin.

I got it for my face and I do use it once a week. The size of it is perfect because now I use it all over my body. Scalp spa once every 2 weeks. I used to have itchy, flakey scalp, now it's gone. Heels, knee, elbows - when it's a bit rough and dry. Bikini area - in between waxing to avoid ingrown hair. Works wonders. Underarms - once every 2 weeks. I don't use any other deodorant but I never did and I don't smell much to begin with. I moisturize my skin (except scalp) after using this to avoid any dryness or irritation.

I wasn't sure if this would do much for my exhausted skin (from years and years of acne). I have deep red scars, large pores,.. but it definitely is worth the hype!!! :D Feels tightening when applied to moist skin, but after moisturiser you can tell that redness is a lot reduced! Even my husband noticed that transition :D My only wish is larger packaging.... ups, I guess I use the product twice a day :D Thank you The Ordinary team for giving us hope and efficient products :D Please, remain the same reliable company as so many people adore you!

Started using this along side squaline cleanser. Day 1 & 2 could see clearer much smoother skin,.. then had an eruption of bumps and my typical sebacious lumps , I could see the typical white patches under my skin waiting to erupt. But I checked out lots of reviews and it said some people see their skin go into overdrive but to persevere and I did. 3 weeks in it’s like a mini face lift. No more congestion, my pores have shrunk dramatically allowing my skin to lift. I had deep lines around around my jaw when I smiled and these have reduced. My family tell me my skin looks beautiful, younger, and my partner tells me the difference is amazing. For the 1st time in decades I am going foundation free! I use this once a week it really cleans up my face and makes it smooth after I I wash it off I go in with the matrixol 10%. This is my once a week routine it gives me a nice glow

I use this product to exfoliate my scalp weekly, before showering. Turns out I don't have dandruff, just dry skin. Exfoliating has made my scalp shed much less with barely any visible flakes in my hair for up to a week I also use it on my face but be careful, I do get reactions sometimes even though it's their lighter acids

I swear by this toner and have only been using it for a week. It has already worked wonders. After cleansing, I use this at night and this works well on any marks or scars I have on my face from previous acne. It really smoothes out the tone and texture of your skin and I love it. It's best to do this at night as it makes your face slightly sticky but nothing uncomfortable. I felt a bit worried to apply an 'acid' to my face, but do not fear, it's brilliant and does exactly what it needs to. I use it 4-5 times a week and it's brilliant. Cannot recommend enough!

I think I’m into my fourth week but had results within 7 days Skin is softer and smoother and little lumps and bumps have either disappeared or much reduced

I started using this product about two weeks ago. I am late 40's and have hormonal acne that comes and goes as well as roseacea. I use Retin A at night along with Cerave PM moisturizer. My t-zone is OILY. Always has been. When 4 pm rolls around, my entire face is an oil slick. A friend recommended this product to reduce sebum production and redness. Thus far, it is working very well - there is a noticeable reduction in oil, especially on my forehead. And my roseacea is much calmer. I use this every morning right after I cleanse. It is tacky for a couple of minutes, but once it's dry, I use moisturizer (sparingly) and a tinted mineral sunscreen. Unlike many products I have used, I did not have a purging period.

Hi ladies who have adult acne. I had bad hormonal acne, i was so self conscious and I couldn’t wear any foundation as it looked worse when i covered up. I have consulted a atologist who prescribed me acutane, but after reading the horrendous side effects i was not going to risk my health for my acne problem although i really hated my acne. I tried this niancinamide and zinc solution on wet skin. My hormonal acne is gone now. Now I don’t wear foundation at all. My skin is able to breathe. It really saved my face. Thank you for this honest good product, it saved me from harmful drugs.

I bought this about three weeks ago, it's my first product ever from The Ordinary. I got it after hearing from a friend who liked it so much. I used to struggle with intense cystic acne, and last year I started isotretinoin to treat it. About 3 months ago I finally saw my last pimple and I'm glad to say that worked out for me. But even though I no longer have acne, I have scars and hyperpigmentation left behind that I'm eager to get rid of. I've been using it every 2-3 days, as part of my night time routine. The marks on my right cheek have almost completely disappeared! The left have significantly improved and hopefully will be gone soon too. My skin is also less oily and my skin tone is very even. Friends and family have been complementing me on how glowy my skin looks too. Some people experience some irritation on this but I have not at all. No burning, or redness thankfully. Just incredible results. Its made me purchase more products from The Ordinary!

I love this serum, I would continue buying it. It really makes a difference in my skin preventing pimples, lines and smooths my skin. You can feel the effect after using it for couple of days in combination with a good moisturizer. I highly recommend it. Also I will like to mention that I had an issue with the first shipment and the ordinary team helped me immediately before I even notice the shipment was late they reached out first and re shipped. I am very happy with the customer service as well. Keep it up
