SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum 30ml

I've only been using this vitamin c for the last 2-3 weeks, but i can tell that it has already brightened up some hyperpigmentation spots on my face from old acne scars. As others have said, the product smells pretty strongly and it dries really quickly once I apply it, but I think it's going to be worth the extra $$. I bought two cheaper alternatives that were also l-absorbic acid and had ferulic and vit e for stabilizers, but the difference was not as dramatic as I have seen with this product. My one complaint is the bottle it is in. Since l-absorbic acid has a tendency to oxidize quickly, it'd be nice if the packaging were similar to Drunk Elephants twist top that doesn't let much light or air in. On the other hand, they say even if it is darker colored, it should still be effective

This is the *best* serum to use in the mornings. I've been obsessed with SkinCeuticals for the last few years, and this is by far my favorite product. The CE Furulic is another serum they sell, but the Phloretin CF is better for slightly oilier, acne-prone skin like mine. It makes my skin feel balanced in the morning and it gives it a great glow! It's also in the long term helped with some hyperpigmentation. This is a DEFINITE must. I use this with the replenishing cleanser and a tinted SPF moisturizer everyday. A+++

Product seems to even out my skin tone and does not irritate my sensitive skin.

Been using this product for over a year. It does a great job protecting my skin from the sun. I notice I burn way less frequent than others when I have this on daily. I feel like it dries a little sticky so I wait about ten minutes to put on makeup so that it is fully dry.

Has helped lessen the appearance of acne scars on my face. Skin looks brighter overall. Will purchase again.

I wanted to like this product SO badly because of all the rave reviews, but it just did not work with my skin type!! I have very dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin and I'm very careful with trying new products. Initially when I tried this serum it gave me several fluid-filled bumps on my face - not quite pimples but possibly some sort of allergic reaction. They went away a few days after I stopped using it. When I re-tried several months later I didn't have as severe of a reaction, but I did still get that same type of breakout on my forehead and cheeks. Overall this product did not work well with me. It also felt sticky on my skin, and looked oily/greasy under makeup so I was only really able to wear it at night. If there is any way for you to try it in a sample size or borrow from a friend before making the purchase, I'd definitely recommend a trial run beforehand!

This product has single handedly improved my post-acne hyperpigmentation more than any other product on the market and I'm a total skincare junkie who's tried hundreds of products. It's way expensive yes, but I only use 3 drops in the morning so I feel like it'll last a while. This product, combined with the skinceuticals retinol, has improved and changed my skin so much. I will be a lifetime customer for sure! Oh and I don't mind the smell.

I've bought this product before several years ago and noticed a significant improvement in my skin's coloring with regular use! Didn't buy for awhile given the price but having moved to colorado I saved up again and I'm impressed with the quality! it has been made less sticky and dark colored since my last use. it goes on easily below sunscreen and gives me added sun protection, which I love. I have oily, acne prone skin, and this product does not irritate my skin or make me break out at all. It has really helped to even out my skin-tone, which is a reason I felt like I always had to wear make-up. My skin looks much brighter and healthier while using this product.

I absolutely LOVE using this serum every morning on my oily, acne-prone skin. I used to use the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, but was then recommended this product as a better fit for my specific skin. And wow, it is incredible. Old acne spots that have lingered for years are finally disappearing and my skin is much more bright and healthy overall. Expensive, but best daily serum.

This is my second time purchasing this product, and I am very pleased. I have used both Skinceutical's Phloretin CF and Skinceutical's CE Ferulic but I prefer this one. I have oily skin and find that this formula is more lightweight, absorbs into my skin better, and doesn't leave my skin looking oily or sticky. The serum has improved my hyperpigmentation, and I love knowing that my skin is being protected from skin-damaging free radicals. The serum is quite pricey, however each bottle lasts for about 3 months (I use 4-5 drops each morning), and I think the benefits are worth the investment.

This stuff has a great reputation and with good reason, it works! I noticed the biggest change in my skin when adding this to my daily am routine. I use it after washing my face every morning and it has evened my skin tone, texture, and I feel like it even tightens a bit after application. It is expensive, but I use 3 drops daily and it lasts a longtime. Plan to reorder, because I don't want to be without. It does have a strange odor, but it fades quickly and not a deal breaker for me.

This is the holy grail product for a combination skin. This has made my skin look so bright and healthy in just 4 months. I don't have to wear any make up whatsoever. In the morning I apply Phloretin, daily moisturizer from Skinceuticals and sunscreen. After that am good to go. I just love my skin. It feels so hydrated and plumped. I am a Skinceuticals customer forever.

Everyone should use a C serum, and this one is great for me. I have tried the CE Ferulic as well, but my recommended this one for more combination skin. I have been using it for years, and I don't plan to quit!

Been using it for about a year. My skin condition is definitely better overall, but I have been using a new skincare regimen so hard to pin it down to which product. Smell does not bother me at all. Absorbs quickly. Does not make me break out.

I alternate between this and Cellex C. I love both and have used both brands for the past 20 years. I don't use it every day, but you can see and feel the difference when you do.

I really like this product. I have only been using it for a couple weeks, but can already see a big differece in my skin. I like that it sinks into your skin quickly. The only dislike for me is smell. It is not that bad though and would never keep me from using it. I would say it's worth every penny. I wish I had started using it sooner.

I purchased this during the winter sale during black friday, but otherwise it would be too expensive for a common purchase. the texture is not as sticky as the drunk elephant vit c. I keep the blue box it comes in and flip it upside to help with slowing the oxidation. It requires consistent use (after 3 months of using it) for results such as skin brightness, and helps maintain skin hydration status not too oily or dry.

I prefer this to the C E Ferulic serum. I bought this after I bought the C E Ferulic serum and although it worked well, the Phloretin C serum gave me faster results. Both are great though! Both feel a little sticky on the face though even after drying, but it's not a big deal.

Quality vitamin c serum and worth the money! Does not cause piling under makeup.

I started using four SkinCeuticals products 5 days ago and my husband told me this morning that my makeup looked great. I was like "What make-up? This is my bare face"! I know this line is expensive but I am going to stock up whenever it's 20% off.

I don't have anything negative to say about this product. I have not noticed much of a difference but I feel like this is going to be a product that, with maintained application, will show reveal beautiful results. I also don't mind the scent.

My atologist recommended this to me and I’m very happy that she did. I have noticed the positive changes in my skin such as a more even texture / tone, some lightening of a scar that was the result of a breakout in my teens and an overall glow in my skin. It’s pricey but it works. occasionally has this on sale which is a wonderful thing.

I was a regular user of CE Ferulic, but started having breakouts even though I’m 65 years young, so I stopped using it. Didn’t take long for me to see sun spots popping up and my skin just didn’t look good. No more breakouts with this product and my skin is looking great.

It’s been over a month of using this and I’m obsessed. For me and my skin (acne prone, combo, sensitive) it’s an even nicer finish than CE Ferulic. I find it sits better under my makeup and minimizes shine throughout the day. A real winner for vitamin c!!

This product was recommended to me by my since I struggle with acne. It seems to be working? It’s definitely not causing me to break out and I have no complaints, but it’s preventative so I wouldn’t say my skin actually looks better yet?
