SkinCeuticals Physical Matte UV Defense SPF 50

I’m very picky with facial sunscreen. Most feel heavy, break me out and look ghostly white. This one is my holy grail! I love the hydrating, light weight texture. It makes my skin feel so nice. If you are minimal makeup/don’t wear foundation kind of person but still want a slight tint, this is perfect. I love it, religiously wear it everyday and put myself on a subscription so I’m never without it.

I can lather this with thicker sunscreen while out in the sun or pair with makeup as a primer.

Holy grail product, hands down. A co-worker recommended this to me years ago and I never picked it up. Instead I kept trying other cheaper sunscreens and eventually forgot about it. Then I went into a for something else and they gave me a sample. I am in love and I'm angry at myself for wasting so much time not buying this! The tint is barely noticeable and just evens my skin tone a bit. It's weightless. It leaves me skin with a natural soft finish. I will keep buying this one forever.

This is one I will keep reaching for always, at least until i find something better... which I havent yet. I really like the formulation of this product, it sits so nice on my skin, brightens and gives full protection from my experience. It doesnt break me out or leave me shiny. It does leave A little hint of a white cast but it doesnt bother me at all. There is a version of the spf that is tinted with no cast and also just as great, i just prefer no tint.

SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50 is one of my go to sunscreens. It’s super lightweight, doesn’t clog my pores, and the tint blends really well with my skin tone. I love that it gives strong protection without feeling heavy or greasy.

One of the best SPH 50 on the market. I use it very often and I mix it with Vitamine E cream and it works perfectly. I recommend their products and want to try more.

Love the tinted lotion. It goes on and comes off much easier than the older white (zinc) lotion. I hope it is as effective!

Super lightweight liquid sunscreen with a beautiful universal tint. I gave it four stars because it has a matte finish on my dry skin.

I’m very pleased with this sunscreen. It is sheer and goes on nicely under makeup; does not pill. I have sensitive skin and did not react to anything in this product. I am also very happy that it’s paraben free as the less chemicals I have on my face, the better I like it! I do wish it was a little heavier so that I could wear it alone on no-make up days. Other than that, it protects my skin and looks very nice under my makeup.

At first I thought it was too greasy and cakey. Now I’m using it more as makeup (layering it over non-tinted sunscreen) and starting to like it much better! Evens out my skin tone beautifully. Only problem is I have to make sure my skin is very moisturized otherwise I find it shows dry patches of skin.

It has smoothen my skin tone to a point I through it was not possible. Not the cheapest option but worth it, it also lasts super long so it actually not that much what you are paying.

This has chunks in it that are larger than sand. Cannot use.

I was excited to try this based on all the great reviews, but this literally smelled like motor oil. I shook it well, applied it and was appalled that it smelled like an auto body shop. Maybe I received a spoiled batch, but I was disturbed that a high end skin care brand smells like this. As far as the texture, it is goes on very oily (!) and shiny. Truly perplexed as to why people are raving about this.

My atologist recommended this after I’ve had Basel Cell Carcinoma removed with the Mohs Procedure. I love it for being thin and light on my skin. I got this sunscreen a while ago along with others to blind test. I have never gone back to other brand since. It’s so good. Lift weight and completely invisible. I have repurchased multiple times and it’s so worth the money!

This sunscreen is a great price and it includes Titanium dioxide & Zinc oxide which are both super crucial in sunscreen to have to protect your skin. I do like that it's tinted as well however I find that it leaves me a white cast or white matte feeling, which ends up drying out my skin. I didn't like the white cast feel even though it says it shouldn't leave a white cast. Therefore I wouldn't repurchase this. I do recommend it but I just wouldn't repurchase it for that reason.

First time I try this tinted mineral sunscreen and I really like it. I like that it has a lightweight coverage. I usually use it as a foundation on days I do not want to wear makeup and still look put together. It does not have a strong smell and it leaves a dewy finish. I love that it is not sticky whatsoever. However it is a very watery sunscreen and can get messy if not careful when applying but I already got the hang of it. I need to order another one because I am already running out.

This is a good high-strength sunscreen. It didn’t leave a white cast for me and I liked the texture under makeup and without makeup.

This sunscreen does a great job of evening my skin tone, its light coverage but even with acne i can use it the way one would typically use foundation. It doesn’t pill and it holds up on my oily skin. I don’t find that it clogs my pores or causes breakouts either which is great! Definitely a sunscreen you can use on a daily basis!

While featuring a matte finish, still effectively caters to my sun care needs. It's easy to apply, lightweight, and doesn't leave a white cast. The tint blends naturally with my skin tone, without any heavy or greasy feeling.

I love this sunscreen! I’ve never gotten a sunburn while using SkinCeuticals sunscreen. This sinks into my skin quickly and easily, and reapplies well. I have never tried wearing foundation on top of it, but it doesn’t pill at all with my concealer or cream blush.
