I bought a certain product for eczema and it noted niacinamide as one of the main ingredients; The product did calm down the issue a bit, but mildly effective I would say. I read a bit more abt niacinamide and how it can help eczema. Realising this fact, I bought The Ordinary Niacinamide with Zinc. Wow, within abt 24 hr the skin affected with eczema is significantly less itchy, less inflamed, and no longer "hurt" ... if you know anyone with eczema this product might help

I consider myself to have sensitive skin, especially on my cheeks, and thankfully The Ordinary’s Niacinamide and Zinc serum doesn’t irritate me at all. I struggle with hormonal acne around my chin and jaw and acne on my cheeks. I had a great experience with this serum. I’ve been using this for about a month every morning and it has decreased the amount of acne I have been getting. It has also helped to heal the pimples that I still managed to pop up. My favorite part about this product is how it makes my skin look so glowy and dewy. It stays that way for quite a long time after I apply it. I have gotten many compliments about how my skin looks super healthy. I will continue using this and recommend it for anyone that has sensitive or acne prone skin.

Start using it one month ago and I see some improvements in my skin. The acne is still there but texture is better. Probably it won’t solve my acne problem (which is normal) but my skin looks better

Yes Yes Yes! This product should be in everyone's bath! It is well absorbed, the skin becomes smooth, it is good to fight redness and age spots. I have combination acne prone skin and this product works wonders!

I was gifted The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum compliments of Skeepers in exchange for my honest thoughts. This serum is comes in a clear glass bottle with a dropper. It can be incorporated into a daytime or nighttime routine. I prefer to use it at night time after cleansing my face and before using any other actives. The serum is clear and I use about two drops to cover my face. I feel that it works optimally when skin is still a bit damp. I make sure to allow the serum to fully absorb into the skin before moving on to other steps in my routine. I struggle with enlarged pores on my nose and cheek area and I feel that this serum really helps to relieve the congestion in those areas, allowing for clearer and brighter skin. I experienced no burning or stinging with this product but you may want to patch test first if you are new to using niacinamide. While you can work your way up to daily use, new users may want to start out with 2x per week. This serum is fragrance free and seems to work well with other products in a skincare routine.

From a very young age, I have always had spots. Really painful ones, and especially during that time of the month. I have tried every single spot treatment, facial wash and serum I could get my hands on, including ones from particularly expensive ranges, and nothing has ever worked. If it did help a little bit, then it certainly wouldn't while my hormones were flying everywhere, and I used to lather on expensive foundation to cover them up. I've even tried custom made skincare products with all sorts of crazy chemicals in them, and the only thing that they'd achieve in doing was making my skin more sensitive. After using this stuff for a month (I still can't even get over how cheap it is), I now confidently go outside without any foundation/concealer on. Like, it is actually insane. I have not been asked to write this review, I just wanted to tell everyone; if you're in your mid to late 20s, and you get hormonal/stress acne, buy this stuff. I don't even know if it's meant for that, but it works.

I've been using this solution of niacinamide for nearly a year now. i struggle with my skin texture a lot and this product has seriously helped. I started my journey with this serum 8 months ago and it was a game changer for my combination /oily prone skin type. I was looking for a product to balance sebum extraction on oily areas of skin especially during hot summer when wearing foundation just makes it worse. This product gives "velvet" matte effect on skin, but keeps healthy glow, no tight feeling on dry areas. Even during hot summer it keeps oily areas balanced for the whole day. During colder days my skin becomes drier and I thought it will not work for me then, but it proved to be as good as described before. This "velvet" effect is so good, that I stopped using foundation / matte powder at all. Highly recommend.

I instantly noticed how much of a difference it made in my oil production- the oils on my face were way more evenly distributed. This really helped balance my combination skin. I have to say I love how theordinary makes skincare more accessible and avoids the frills of extra ingredients or gimmicky packaging. This stuff works! It isn’t overnight of course but with recurrent usage you will notice a difference.

I received this product gifted by the ordinary. this is a good niacinamide serum. It does a good job of hydrating and plumping my face. I like that it isn't a super thin formula, but it's not so thick that it leaves my face feeling tacky, it's right in the middle.
