The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronic 30ml

I started with TO HA and used that for about a year. I couldn’t get the HA to play nice with others as to not pill, even when I used the recommended 1-2 drops. I ordered marine hyaluronics about 3 months ago and I’m on my second bottle. It is very watery but I love that about it. I can use 2 layers and put my other products for the day and zero pilling. My skin is soft, smooth, and hydrated. This is one of those products that need larger sized options!

I love this product very much! The texture is very light, like water, so you need to apply quickly in the first step. It is absorbed very quickly, leaves no residue, and most importantly does not roll off like H. acid. By the way, I have acne-prone skin, and from it I do not have new rashes.

I love this product. It's very light in texture and gets absorbed very fast. An amazing supplement to my skin care routine. I have combination skin and I have been using lot of AHA and BHA lately. This product helps rehydrate my skin after these harsh treatments. I definitely see the difference.

It is a good product. It really works and the consistency is way better than the Hyaluronic Acid + B5. I like the Fermented extracts as well.

This is one of my favorite skin care products period. I have combination skin so it can be tricky finding something that works for me. When I first tried it months ago, I remember thinking I couldn't believe I just paid for a product that looked and felt like plain ol' water. But it holds in moisture like no other product I've ever used without making my skin look oily! I do not ever have any dry patches on my face and that's with using the vitamin C powder and tea tree oil - both of which can be very drying. It really has been a game changer for me. I am in love. I have been looking for a hydrating serum to apply before NMF as my skin has been very dehydrated since the winter despite how much water I drink. I tried HA & B5 but alas it broke me out and if I am honest made my skin a little red and sore (my skin is acne prone and very volatile) so I tried this and voila! It is very watery so I just apply (about 5-7 drops) in my hands, rub them briefly together and apply all over my face, neck and décolleté. I then wait 5-10 mins and follow up with NMF and SPF in the day. This is a remarkably good serum that delivers every time, out performing so many other products on the market and the realistic price is appreciated. Please make this in a larger bottle as I go through it at speed and prefer to re-order products when I have a few to reduce my deliveries/carbon footprint. I am interested in trying the newer Amino Acid product under NMF in the winter when my skin gets very dry and sore buy will keep this in my arsenal for sure. Best thing I ever put on my face. The hydration is unbelievable and it absorbs into skin instantly, I love to follow it with a spritz of rosewater to just add a bit more moisture.

I agree with other reviewers, this product is a hidden gem. After noticing how dry my skin was as we headed into the colder weather, I decide to order this during the DECIEM sale. This was the perfect addition to my skincare routine. After using it for one week, I notice a big different in the hydration, glow and plumpness of my skin. Before the marine hyaluronic came out, I was using the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5. I found that one to be a bit thick, and if you put too much on it forms a slimy white film on my face and takes longer to absorb. So you need a little bit. I like the Maurine hyaluronic way better because it's more watery and absorbs super fast. I love how it would hydrate my dehydrated face and hold in moisture from my day moisturizer. It kept my skin nice and plump all day long! The good thing is there is no fragrance. I did not experience any break out or irritation at all. I have ordered two more since then.

I really have no idea how this works, but in a few weeks it's already become a part of my skincare routine and I now use a few drops twice a day. I use this like a Korean essence, after cleansing and toning, and before additional serums. It seems to plump/hydrate and have a brightening effect, it really is nice! I wish it wasn't QUITE so watery and also i did try to put my head back and drop it onto my face and ended up getting it in my eye. Now i just drop a few drops into my hand and pat it in... in the last few months i've finally nailed down what really works and this Marine Hyaluronics has made the cut! Honestly my skin has never looked better... scars and acne fading, texture is amazing, looks flawless in photos with barely any make up :) my routine is: 1% salicylic acid / green tea cleanser from theskincarecompany alcohol free witch hazel toner The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics The Ordinary 10% Niacinamide The Ordinary Rose Hip Oil + Snail Repair from Mizon (mix) The Ordinary HA + NMF (to seal the treatments/work as a primer) The Ordinary Serum Foundation in 2.0 Y/G At night I just swap out the witch hazel for The Ordinary 7% Glycolic acid toner... I can't believe what a massive improvement The Ordinary's products have made in my skin. I absolutely love this brand, it's enabled me to experiment and try lots of different routines (for example, it didn't work out between me and pure Squalane, but that's ok!) and products until I found precisely what works for me... that would have been unaffordable if I'd gone the route of drunk elephant, kiehls, and so on... so thank you thank you thank you :) :) :)

I'm obsessed! This has such a light texture that it's basically an essence! Normal HA tends to suck moisture from my already dry skin, but this product doesn't! It actually plumps up my fine lines and has increased the overall hydration of my skin! I will never not purchase!

A very light weight hydrator that absorbs really quick. Makes me pores look smaller and gives my skin a light glow. I do not find any odd smell like the others said. Thank you for making such a wonderful product.

Fell in love with the hyaluronic acid serum, and i thought i would give this one a try since it's not as heavy a serum as the hyaluronic acid, and it absorbs faster. I like it and it gets the job done with less wait time compared to the original. I use it to dilute my vit c suspension + ha spheres, and ive' really enjoyed the results of that. Will i be repurchasing? Not sure.. the smell is weird. I will use the rest of the bottle, but i may switch back to the original.

I bought this "for a change", I wanted to try something different from my HA 2% + B5, but found out it just wasn't for my skin type. This formula is very runny, which I had to get used to, but that's ok. The problem is it didn't really want to dry on my skin and since I'm used to the HA 2% + B5, I didn't really enjoy that and could use it only in the PM (I couldn't put it under my foundation in the morning). The biggest issue I had with the product was it made my skin oily. When I put it on my face, it just sat there and then my skin started to produce oil - I don't know why was that, but after finishing one whole bottle of the product, I had to admit it just wasn't for me. BUT - as for the hydration, there was nothing wrong with it. My skin never showed any dry patches after using this formula regularly. I have got another two bottles left of this product, so I gave them to my mom and she seems to enjoy it (I figured she would be fine with the formula, since she has got older skin and needs the hydration too). The best thing you can do is just try the products and then decide which one suits your skin the best. This one just wasn't for me, but it worked fine nonetheless.

Love love love this product. I just came home from Iceland and my skin was struggling - so dry and damaged from cold wind. Bought this in desperation and am so impressed. Just adds that layer of moisture, and a few days later my skin is soft, supple and comfortable again. Please don't stop making this, especially at such an awesome price.

This is a miracle in a bottle! Must have for people with insanely oily skin. My face despise oils of any kind regardless of how nutritious they are or even noncomedogenic. I’ve struggled so much with moisturizers because sometimes my skin felt greasy even after using oil-free products. This was something different, it is entirely water based and my face soaked it up right away. It makes my skin smooth and softens some of my acne that are dried from using acids so I can apply my foundation after this and it looks great! Can’t recommend this more for oily skin!!!

I like this better than the regular Hyaluronic 2%+B5 but since it doesn't come in a larger size I don't buy it often. It works for me to use a bit after washing then to layer over it a moisturizing lotion or light oil. Especially on skin dried out from swimming, etc.. But since it is such a small bottle it seems silly to use it, for example, on my neck, chest, or arms and run out of it all the time. It's bad enough that the large tub of Hyaluronic acid gel was discontinued even though it sold very well (many times it was sold out). So 4 stars but only because the bottle is too small - not sure if I'd recommend this unless someone wanted to only use it on their face.

I use this as a first super hydrating treatment every day. It's fluid consistency ensures anything else I layer sinks in. My skin loves hydration so this is one of my essentials. Please could we have it in a 60ml bottle?

I've been using this for years and it has been a staple in my skincare routine from day one. It's so hydrating and light-weight, so it's super easy to fit in to your regular everyday skincare routines. I mix it with the l-ascorbic acid powder because it's got the perfect consistency for it! I also de tretinoin cream and this helps me manage how flakey and peely my skin can get.

My skin drinks this up, im never without marine hyaluronic i buy 4-5 at a time!

Dears, I have just recently purchased this product and have been using this in my AM routine under my makeup. The face looks glowing, the skin is plump and no fine lines are visible - there is no product buildup in them! One important thing to mention - I have been using retinoid 2% in my PM routine, which helped regulate oily patches of my skin a lot (combination skin type). Those two products make a good team for me. To remark on the texture of the product, it is very runny and easy to apply, it's lightweight and manageable. And the smell is gorgeous!

This is my HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT. I've been using this morning and night for about 3 weeks and I am actually blown away at how big of a difference it's made to my skin. I am typically oily so I never considered buying more moisturizing products, but omg, I'm glad I trusted the reviews and went for it. In the morning when I wake up I splash my face with water to remove my eye crusties and serums etc. from the night before, and once I towel-dry my face it literally feels like silk. SILK. It's incredible. I'd love to see this in the 60mL size because I will never, ever stop buying this.

I LOVE this product - it absorbs easily and had made such a difference in my skin. It used to be so tight & dry and now it is hydrated without being greasy. I don't need to use heavy moisturizers any more to combat the dryness. The only down side is the smell - not pleasant but it dissipates quickly and the benefits are worth the smell!! I'd rather have this smell than some of the heavily perfumed ones in other cosmetic lines. I have gone thru 2 bottles & just ordered 2 more. I tried the Hyaluronic Acid2% +B5 and no matter what I did it pilled when I applied other products. Keep it up The Ordinary - your products are exceptional!!!

I have used Marine Hyaluronics for years. It instantly and visibly plumps my skin and is the perfect base for other Ordinary products. The consistency is thin and applies evenly and absorbs quickly. Seems to have many of the same ingredients as a very high end brand.

Love this! Even though you might not except it from such a water-like product, it's extremely hydrating!

I've been using this for years now, and it makes my skin feel extremely soft, plump and hydrated. It's by far my favourite product from the ordinary, I use it both morning and night after cleansing/toning. I also recommended it to my mum who said it has been amazing for her menopausal skin and now cannot live without it. Please make it in a larger size, I go through about 10 bottles of it per year and would love it in a 60ml or even a 120ml size.

Today is the first day using marine hyaluronics and my skin has never felt this much hydrated without feeling too oily! I usually have oily skin when im at school and dry skin in the winter and this product will make my life 100% easier.

I wish that this product came in a larger size. Tried the hyaluronic acid and it left me feeling dry and everything pilled even when I used only two drops. This works so much better for dehydrated skin.

Went for the Marine over the regular hyaluronics as I live in the tropics (Maui) and heavy moisturizers smother my skin. This stuff is like water. You just splash it on, soaks in immediately. No noticeable scent. I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin's softness, especially around the chin area which used to get congested and dry. Could be the peptides too. I like it. Affordable and understated.

It gives enough hydration, but very lightweight just like water. I used to use HA 2% + B5 but not quite like that little-sticky texture, this Marine Hyaluronics perfectly replaces it! Lovely serum.

This is the best. I feel it helps my skin to heal much faster after a breakout than anything I tried. It improved my complexion a lot. This stuff is really gentle and it has helped keeping my skin balanced and my dry cheeks nice and squishy while the icy Siberian winds have been hitting Northern Europe. Regarding the smell, I wanted to add that to me It smells like ...food. A bit like vegan cheeese perhaps? Not a bad smell, just unusual for a skincare product. As someone who is sensitive to essential oils and not a fan of "allergy friendly" scents (like the ones in french pharmacy), I love, love, love that TO products are fragrance free. If that means that I sometimes have an unusual sensory experience when using your products, then so be it! Love and appreciation from windy Copenhagen!

I have very sensitive skin that is also prone to breakouts, and my main concern is anti-ageing. Moisturising delicate skin properly without aggravating acne is an ongoing challenge for me. This product is amazing. I use it morning and night as a first step in my routine, and I can feel the calming, anti-inflammatory effect immediately. For those of you that find the texture too watery, I just use the dropper to let a drop fall directly on my forehead and cheeks, and I can quickly distribute it over my face and neck. It's easy to use and a lifesaver for easily irritated, acne-prone skin.
