thinning hair or gradual hair loss on the top of the scalp (vertex only, as shown on the next page). It is not intended for frontal baldness or a receding hairline. The common inherited thinning or hair loss process begins slowly and may become noticeable only after years of gradual loss.
ROGAINE® Extra Strength Solution is for men with hair loss or thinning hair that begins on the vertex of the scalp. ROGAINE® Extra Strength Solution is more likely to regrow hair in men with hair loss in the range shown on the next page. If men have more hair loss than shown, ROGAINE® Extra Strength may not work.

I had previously tried Rogain foam for 6 months with zero results. My hair is on the long side. I had read that the Rogaine solution may work better with longer hair. After two months of using the solution I started seeing small hairs filling in the thin spots and along my hairline. As you can see in the pictures there are shorter hairs growing in along my hairline. The same results are happening throughout the top of my head but are harder to photograph. For me the Rogaine solution gave far superior results compared to the foam. If you have longer hair and have not had any luck with the foam I would recommend giving the solution a try. It is easier to use the dropper to get the solution through longer hair and directly onto the scalp. I tilt my head back so the solution runs back over the top of my head then massage it in. I’m actually shocked at how well this is working. I had little faith in the product after ny results with the foam. The solution was a game changer.
