The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil 30ml

I'd been thinking about trying this for some months. I already use buffet and niacinamide, one in the morning and the other at night before bed. I wanted something to mix with the serum drops. It's lovely, very moisturising and not very greasy. I've noticed an improvement in my jawline and neck area texture too after just a few weeks.

The Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil is my favorite oil to use! It feels so nice on my skin when I apply it and leaves my skin feeling supple and moisturized. It sinks in easily and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. This oil has an earthy smell but it’s not unpleasant or strong. My favorite way to use this oil is by mixing it in with my moisturizer and then applying to my face. I’m a big fan of the Rosehip Seed Oil and will always use it in my routine!

I have dry skin and this is a perfect oil to keep my skin soft and healthy, specially during winter.

I live in the UK and I’m outside a lot , biting winds , freezing temperatures and my face feels it . I’ve used this product for years and it always picks my skin back up , banishes soreness and dryness .

Skin feels nicely hydrated after using the rose hip oil, it’s very light, can’t live without it.

I have a question is it normal when you rub it on that you’re face almost is like peeling?I have a bought this a month ago I know after I use it my face is baby soft and smooth , I’m not sure if it’s helping the areas I have some on spots almost.

I have had this product for a few months, I use it after my moisturizer each night. I already had a routine I was in love with but wanted to add more hydration during the night. This product is incredible! I use it after my moisturizer and even with my acne-prone skin, I haven't seen a jump in acne. Every morning I wake up with refreshed and hydrated skin. I recommend this 100x times over and I will be rebuying this. This is the newest addition to my miracle routine <3

This product reminds me of stale cod liver oil. Is that normal? I’m tempted to throw it out.

I bought this and have been using it for a few weeks. I like it, It leaves a greasy feel, but I just use it at night, and in the morning my skin feels much more hydrated. I just have to make sure to wash it off before I go to the gym!I'm not sure if I'm getting the all the benefit of it, though.The moisterizer that I use is the ELF holy hydration fragrance free face cream. It has Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, Squalane, and Peptides. it says to put it on clean wet skin. I'm not sure if I should put the oil on top or underneath to get the benefit of both. I’ve never used an oil on my skin before as I’ve always been prone to breakouts but thought I’d take the plunge after reading so many good things about them, and boy, am I glad I did! This oil makes my skin feel so good, I love it! I’m on my second bottle, my first bottle did have a bit of a pong about it, I thought it smelt quite fishy, but a few drops of essential oil soon masked it - it’s far too beneficial to let the smell put off! My second bottle, however, has no scent so maybe it depends on the batch, it is 100% natural after all

Absolutely fell in love with this oil! My friend turned me to this product about a year ago and I was really skeptical at first putting oil on my face but after the first use, I saw a difference right away! The smell is a bit offputting I'll admit but for the benefits, I could not care what it smelled like. My skin has been under massive stress lately (my fault of course) and I had an awful breakout (which I NEVER get. EVER.) and it was irritated, red, and dry as hell and my saving grace was the rosehip seed oil. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It'll save your life! I have skin that marks easily - if I get a scratch then there will be a dark line afterwards. I scratched my forehead recently (I’m always scratching myself in my sleep as I have eczema) I can’t believe how this oil meant that no scar was left! I moisturise with this at night. My skin is very sensitive too - but my skin can tolerate it. It is so nourishing

I switched over from my usual Clarins products to the Ordinary about six weeks ago. I am 57 years old and I have been using Clarins since I was 18, so changing to The Ordinary was a big leap of faith for me, but I haven't looked back at all. My daily regimen is cleansing (Clarins) the Glycolic Toner, and after 15 minutes of waiting to dry properly, I put on the Hylamide SubQ Anti-Aging and the SubQ Eyes, and finish off with the Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil. It is smooth, very fluid, a little goes a long way, you don't need much to cover your face and neck. I spread it down over my decolletage as well. I've not had any negative reaction on my skin, My skin feels smoother, brighter, less wrinkled and very well moisturised. I am so happy with the Ordinary/Hylamide products, I wish I had known about them sooner! My 29 year old daughter has also just starting using these products and she is just as happy with them as well.

I have oily acne prone skin. This stuff helps seal all the moisture in without breaking me out or feeling greasy. It absorbs well with the HA moisturizer. Helps with my acne scars too! The smell isn't so bad. It doesn't smell like roses but it's a slight earthy smell. I honestly never notice the smell unless I dunk my nose in the bottle. Silky and amazing. I use this as the last step in my PM routine. I have oily skin and in the past fell into the pitfall of oil-free products when in reality my skin was screaming for hydration. one or two drops go a long way but the results you will see after a week or so are great. after my first bottle was empty and I went without it for a week or so I noticed, in a negative way. I reordered immediately and I am sticking with it. love this oil!

I love this product so much!!! I’m on my day 7 of using this consistently every night and the Buffet in the morning. My skin looks brighter and my pimple scars are fading away. Yay!

Been using for almost 2 months, and I haven’t noticed any difference in my skin. It doesn’t absorb very well into my skin and feels kind of gritty. I put it on my skin after my moisturizer to “lock in” everything. Seems to do the job but I had higher hopes.

Big fan of this! I mix with NMF and my skin absolutely loves it. My skin always feels+looks nourished and moisturized after using this. Definitely has a bit of a smell to it, but I totally understand that's what comes with natural quality ingredients.

I loveeeeeeee this product and recommend it to all my friends! I have normal/oily skin and have been using this every day for the last month. My skin is so soft the next day through to the end of the day. Whenever I don't use this my skin feels so dull! I was skeptical to use an oil on my face before bed as i was scared it would be heavy and make me look greasy the next day. But this oil absorbs into the skin before I put my moisturiser on and works so well with my night cream. I love it so much I've been using it on my boyfriend who has dry skin and his skin looks amazing. The dry areas on his face are barely noticeable now whenever he lets me put this on him!

Rose hip oil is my personal Holy Grail. My skin is Oily/Sensitive/Acne-prone so oil that have higher Linoleic acid vs Oleic acid is better suited to me. Rose hip oil has a ratio of 44% +- 5% Linoleic and 14% +- 5% Oleic Acid. My skin has improved after using this as a occlusive layer to seal in the water based serums. At night, after cleansing, I use Essence, The Ordinary Niacinamide serum, Retinol serum, The Ordinary EUK serum and Finally Rose hip seed oil. My skin gets clogged easily with silicone based creams so I have to omit that and use an oil instead. This emolient oil is a great minimal way to seal all the humectants to prevent moisture from escaping. Will repurchase

I've used this in combination with Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane and i'ts been a hit and miss. Although it leaves my skin soft and hydrated when I wake up (with no breakouts), it is way to oily and tacky for my taste. Takes forever to dry. Especially over Granactive Retinoid due to the squalane. However, much better when you blend it with "B Oil" which is my favorite. Although very reasonable price, just like a majority of all TO products. And it lasts a very long time. I'm 26 years old. I have many works, so I take a less sleep. Then my face appears a little wrinkle at the brow, undereye and dehydration skin. Light weight oil that is great for acne prone skin!

I bought this a while ago for the winter time because that's when my skin is really dry. I apply a good layer onto my skin during the night time and I wake up with glowing, baby soft skin. Then In the morning I also apply a couple drops and that makes my skin look really good through out the day. It definitely did help fade my acne scars as well as improving the look of my blemishes. Love this oil especially for the price of it and will repurchase!

I decided to try this oil a few months ago as part of my night time skincare routine. It has done wonders for my skin. After cleansing and applying the niacinamide and zinc serum, I put this on my face and neck right before sleep. When I wake up my skin feels beautifully hydrated and glow, and it has even helped lighten my acne scars and reduce my breakouts. I was nervous to try this at first considering I have very oily skin, but it does not clog you up at all. I will use this forever!

I use this every night after everything else in my night time regimen, and the fact that it isn't exactly sweet-smelling is not a problem for me - as others have said, if it's not artificial perfume then good. BUT If you like white bed linen beware! It does stain.

For context, I've been on Accutane twice to clear my skin which obviously made me drier than the Sahara desert during and for a while after my treatments. I use this every night, both on my face and on my scalp to help the flakiness. For my face, I mix 3 drops of the oil directly in with my moisturizer on my palm and apply to my face. My skin drinks up this stuff and my face still feels so good in the morning. I actually decided to write this review as I order another bottle! It lasts a long time and so worth every penny.

Bought this for the first time this month and after using twice a day for about two weeks absolutely love it. I wear it over Multi-Peptide + HA Serum every day and on alternate nights. On other nights I use it with either Retinol 1% in Squalane or Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion, which I find helps with dryness.

I wasn't sure what this would be like and I am so happy with the results just using it a month now. My skin is so soft and glowing.

This has quickly become my go to product for my dry skin. Living in Canada in the dead of winter my skin always cracked and peeled around my mouth and nose. This stopped completely once I started using this product. I have been using it for 3 years twice a day after my regular moisturizer. It seems to make my skin appear slightly darker which is nice bonus. I cannot say enough good things about this product and I never review anything.
