The Ordinary Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner 100ml

This toner is delightful! It looks exactly like skim milk in your hand, it's white yet watery, making it perfect for my combo/balanced skin going into spring. I even think this is the one milky toner an oily skin person would love. I'm surprised I haven't seen any reviews mention the very noticeable yeast/beer smell when initially applying. It's not my favorite smell, but it goes away almost instantly. But the way this makes my skin FEEL is unlike anything else! It leaves me feeling silky and so smooth but without the oiliness I can get from other milky toners. I still get a lit-from-within glow but this just sinks into my skin so beautifully without a film. I noticed the numerous reviews of people having allergic reactions and it did freak me out at first but when I looked into it further, it makes sense since this is a fermented yeast-based product and with so many people having gluten intolerances and some people being sensitive to fermented ingredients, it is possible this isn't for everyone. But since gluten is my favorite food group and I have no known issues with fermented products, this stuff is magical for me! I respect The Ordinary for letting people know the good and the bad and you should definitely use caution with a product like this if you don't know what you react to.

I have hormonal and cystic acne, and I’ve used a lot of products that I think may have damaged my skin barrier. I wanted to wait until I’d been using this for over a month and as a part of different routines. I haven’t had a single negative reaction, and I use it daily. TO suggested I start my day w/this toner, follow it w/Balancing & Clarifying serum, and a moisturizer. In the evening use glycolic acid, Balancing & Clarifying serum, and a moisturizer. I did this for several weeks, I think my skin barrier is healed and my skin is super clear.

I hope I'm not speaking too soon, but I think I love this toner! I was looking for something to help with sebaceous filaments, enlarged pores, and redness around my nose. After only a few uses, I'm definitely already seeing a lot less redness. And my pores seem less pronounced as well. I think the sebaceous filaments will take longer, but it seems promising! I have very sensitive skin so I sometimes get slightly tingly after using it, but that's not unusual for me, and it doesn't last long. I use it as more of a spot treatment, spreading it only on my 'problem' areas.

I’ve been using this for almost 2 weeks. I have reactive skin with redness. A nightly application of this toner has greatly improved my skin texture and small bumps on my cheeks are gone along with general skin redness. This is a keeper in the arsenal.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks and I just love it what has done to my skin. I also love that it hydrates at the same time it exfoliates. I am such a big fan of the ordinary products but one thing that I dislike about this one is the applicator, I just don’t think is the most convenient one but other than that I have no complaints.

This milky face toner is one of my new favorites! I have many other toner’s and I love them all but this one was my first time trying a milky toner and I love it! I really like that the bottle is glass and is a drip top, so you can use a cotton ball or your fingers to apply it to your face. I normally use my hands for this kind of toner and it works really good for me. It’s helped improve the look of my pores and smooth my skin texture. There is a little scent to it but it doesn’t linger on I actually think it is very pleasant. I would recommend this to anyone as it is suitable for all skin types and really affordable!

I love this toner. I've been using it about twice a week for the past couple weeks and have seen a difference in my skin, which looks brighter and has less texture. I struggle with dark spots and this works nicely while not being too harsh on the skin. It works well with my other products and the price is great.

If you suffer from wrinkles and loose skin this toner is for you. Not only did the product look and feel great on my face. The product legit has improved texture, dullness, and lines over time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I’ve been using this for about a month. I like this as a neutral moisturizing toner. It’s a milky consistency that I use prior to adding a hypotonic acid or other serum to my skin. I’ve found sandwiching this with a serum and moisturizer is really effective and gives me a good glow and moisturized base for makeup. It’s also a great value. I love the idea of getting a fermented toner without paying sk-II prices.

I really liked this product. It made my face feel amazingly soft. I like the bottle and the white color of the toner. I also feel like there are a lot less ingredients than some other toners I have tried which is always a plus :))

I usually use the Paula’s choice exfoliating toner, which I can only use 2x a week with this one is very gentle and I can use it daily, doesn’t irritate my skin. I would recommend this to someone that is on the dry combo side and that usually has sensitive skin. It has no scent which I like and love the milky texture of it. Reminds me of the ilia toner.

I’ve been using the same toner since I was 17 years old and never had a problem with it. It’s been doing the job and I’ve been satisfied. I didn’t know what I was missing. This toner from The Ordinary has given me results I’ve never gotten with my Clinique toner. I don’t like the feel of it, but the results were extraordinary. My skin is clean without being stripped and incredibly soft. I highly recommend this.

This is my first The Ordinary product. I’ve heard raving reviews about the brands and they’ve been on my to try list for a while. I was very impressed with the toner. True to its name it had a milky color and texture. There is no scent, which I love! It cleans effectively and my skin tolerates it well.

This is honestly amazing !!!! I love trying new facial products, but at the same time I get worried due to having sensitive skin. However this product is just all around amazing. It doesn't leave my face feeling greasy or anything. It gently exfoliates my skin for a smoother , hydrated and radiant like outcome. Helps reduce the imperfections as well. I also notice it gives my skin a hydration that lasts all day long unlike a lot of other products! I also didn't know at first, but it actually helps promotes a stronger skin barrier after only 8 hours. Needless to say, this product is a game changer and is probably one of the BESTTT facial products I've ever had the pleasure of being able to try out. It hasn't made my skin break out nor have any sort of negative reaction to the ingredients, unlike A LOTTT of other name brand products (or products in general) have caused in the past. I will DEFINITELY be including this exact product in my facial skincare routine from now on. Definitely recommend giving this a try, I can almost guarantee you that you won't regret it!

Good toner with mild exfoliating properties. If you’re looking for something that’s not too strong and can be used more often then a bha or aha, this works great!

This is has replacement my previous toner. I like that it adds moisture and exfoliants (although lightly). I can tell the difference in my skin texture since adding this to my regimen.

My very first impression of the milky toner was on how much product you get in the packaging. This is seriously great value for anyone purchasing skincare. In my opinion a little goes a long way and that this would last for a good while. The product itself is thin and milky as described and is easily rubbed between palms and applied to the face. I preferred a patting method. I have long been interested in fermented products as they are big in Korea and are known to have multiple benefits! I found that to be the case here. The very first application left me with hydrated and smooth skin that only continued to get better over the course of a week. It played well with my current skincare routine and caused no adverse reactions. I was even told 2 days ago that my skin was flawless at my industrial labor job, which is a feat in itself. I am 33 and am leaning heavily into products that moisturizer and plump my skin instead of stripping it. This is a win and will be purchased when I run out.

I am a huge fan of the Ordinary product, so when I got the chance to try out the milky toner, I was very excited. First off the appearance the containers super cute and looks good out on your countertop. I love the way the product has a milky look to it second I love how the product does not have a strong fragrance, there’s a little something there but it’s not overpowering. I applied the product with a cotton pad and it went on smooth even after washing my face the toner removed more dirt from my face, which was really nice. Overall it left my skin feeling soft and very clean. I would highly recommend you give it a try.

This works pretty good. It has a strange smell ( I guess because it’s fermented) to it but it hydrates my skin and creates a dewy appearance. It helps with skin dumps. I have sensitive skin so this does tingle a bit when I use it. I am not a fan of the smell.

I received from Influenster and The ordinary this product for free in exchange of my honest review. This milk toner left my skin luminous, I also noticed that it is very moisturizing. I have somewhat sensitive skin and there was no problem using the toner. It has a slight smell that I couldn't describe but I think it is because it is fermented. But the smell is not unpleasant at all. The bottle has an applicator that prevents the product from spreading. And like all The Ordinary products, the price is very affordable. I used it after washing my face in the morning and night , it is very light and does not leave a greasy feeling.

This Ordinary milk toner was nice to use. I’m not sure if it helped my skin any but I will continue to use it and see. It looks very high end but is very affordable!

I was somewhat curious about this product , it has fermented milk so I thought it wouldn’t smell good , but it did . It was effective in helping toning my face . I feel like my face looked smoother . I would recommend this to everyone!

This toner is one of my new faves. The consistency is perfect. It is not sticky nor watery, but a silky, milk like texture. It’s not just a toner, but it acts as a moisturizer the way it hydrates your face. It’s also like an instant filler that minimizes pores. It’s all natural and a nice sized glass bottle. The price is great and after just 2 weeks my dark spots are looking lighter and my skin is smoother and brighter!

By far my most favorite toner that i’ve tried. I love the way they made it so easy to just shake some into my palm and put it onto my face with my hands. I don’t use this every night, about 3 times a week but it makes my skin GLOW. Such a beautiful product and my skin loves it. I can’t wait to see the results this will give me over a long while.
